Its over for 2010! What a great cruzing season we had. THANKS EVERYONE! We had 72 cruzers come to our last cruise-in of the year. It started out being a cloudy day and as we ended our awards presentation it started to rain. Everyone received free milkshake coupons from Steak n Shake and we gave away 4 free oil changes from Rick's Tire & Wheel plus two FTC $25 gas cards.
Our average weekly cruzer counted attendance increased 8% to 103 per week, and registered cruzers were up 17% over 2009 totals. Despite 4 rain days in 2010 (the most in 6 years)we still had 12 cruise-ins (of 17) with 94 or more cars present at Lakeside Circle. We were only 62 cars away from our all time annual car count of last year (1,820) and still had over 1,750 cruzers who came to our event in Sterling Heights.
