*Monday Cruise-In Updates......FTC has actively been looking for a new cruise-in site. Any updated news will be posted here and when a new site is finalized, we will send a notification to our 600 cruiser email list.  McLaren Corporate Services stated they were not in a position to entertain our request to hold a Monday evening 4 hour cruise-in event on their premises on Schoenherr Road in Shelby Township in 2025. We have sent them one last request for us to have our event at their site in 2025. We have also offered to change our event to a Saturday or Sunday afternoon if that improves our chances to use their parking lot. Our search continues.   

Site Requirements include the following: Access to a large parking area (300+ spaces) that is separate from other general retail public parking areas, indoor bathrooms, availability of food & beverages from close fast food  establishments or gas stations, easy in & out access from 2 or more site location entrances that are not in a heavy accident prone area. FYI..Many church locations have adequate parking, but are remote, or are not close to  available food & drink resources, or would require their personnel to open the church to use bathroom facilities.  

FTC would like to keep a new weekly event venue within a 3 mile north or south area of the Hall Road corridor and no further than 2 or 3 miles east or west of the Lakeside Mall area. Areas north of  25 Mile Road, south of 18 Mile Road, west of Mound Road,  0r east of Heydenreich are not being considered at this time. This may change as we continue our search. 

This may be a difficult challenge as we have discovered, but if anyone has some potential sites that might meet the above requirements, please submit them to ksavage57@gmail.com. We have received many suggestions which we are reviewing and thank everyone who has already forwarded new site locations to our attention. For those cruisers who have already sent in suggestions, you do not have to send them in again. We now have until May 2025 to find a new location, and hopefully, with your help, we will succeed. 

*September 2, ..we were able to hold our Labor Day cruise-in at the McLaren Corporate Services facilty located east off Schoenherr just south of 23 Mile Road in Shelby Twp. It was a great sunny cool day with 250 cruzers present and everyone liked this location. *Our last Monday night cruise-in at the Lakeside Mall Food Court was on June 24. It was a fabulous evening with close to 500 cars on site. What a night. Thanks every one for making our Monday cruise-ins so successful. We wish to also to thank Lakeside for giving us the opportunty to help keep our cruzing culture alive and well.
